2. Purpose of the App

MyAnimalDiary (MAD) allows you to manage and track pet information, including vaccinations, lab results, vital signs, weight, incidents, feeding plans, medication schedules, appointments, and more.

3. Data You Enter Into the App

3.1 Pet Information

• Name, species, breed, sex, birthdate, age
• Microchip ID
• Photos, notes, attachments

3.2 Health & Medical Data

• Vaccinations
• Laboratory values
• Vital signs (weight, temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate)
• Health incidents and notes

3.3 Planning & Schedules

• Meals & feeding templates
• Medications
• Vet appointments
• Reminders

3.4 Exports

You may export pet data (e.g., vaccination passports, lab results, incident history) as PDF files. These exports remain under your control.

4. Data Storage and Processing

4.1 Local Storage

All data is stored securely on your device. We as the developer cannot access your data.

4.2 iCloud Sync (Optional)

If enabled, your data will sync across your devices via Apple iCloud. Apple's privacy terms apply.

4.3 Face ID / Touch ID

You can optionally lock the app using Face ID or Touch ID. Biometric data never leaves your device. The app only receives a success/failure authentication response.

4.4 Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app uses Apple's Notification Services.

4.5 Data Exports

PDFs or files you export are stored or shared only where you choose. Third-party services you use for sharing apply their own privacy policies.

5. No Third-Party Tracking

6. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR, including access, correction, deletion, and data portability. Many actions can be performed directly in the app (delete entries or uninstall the app).
